The Delivery Driver / Route Sales / Utility employee’s primary responsibility is to transport our fresh flowers safely and efficiently to our growing list of customers including florists, wedding floral designers, grocery stores, and retail subscribers.  When not behind the wheel, the employee can fill additional Field or Barn utility duties as directed.

  • Make face-to-face weekly delivery/sales visits to florists, wedding/event designers, and some upscale food markets. 
  • Make weekly delivery visits to grocery stores and home/business retail subscribers.
  • Work with grocery employees to unload “cases” safely, carefully and efficiently. 
  • Provide ETAs and delivery confirmations by text when appropriate.
  • Maintain communication with office during the day and be ready for unscheduled special stops on route including, but not limited to: hardware store, farm supply store, post office, other greenhouses/farms, airport cargo pickups and drop offs.
  • Work independently and with others to load and unload van/truck.
  • Keep a clean van/truck, stabilize your delicate cargo for transport, and maintain records throughout the day.
  • Additional job duties may include a wide array of diverse farm tasks, from taking out trash to picking up litter, or other errands/chores that need attention, in order to fill your hours.

The ideal candidate:

  • is flexible and ready for an exciting job that will take you all over Ohio and sometimes a little further
  • can move material up to 50 pounds, and move buckets of flowers in repetitive motion
  • has a minimum of 3 years delivery experience preferred. Sales experience preferred but not required
  • has some knowledge of fresh cut flowers and their care, or is willing to learn and excited to work with flowers
